It'll be continually updated so make sure to refer back and find new information I've added over time.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Engagement Sessions

What they really are

Your wedding day is about your story, your family, your friends and a million other things. Your engagement session is the only thing that is 100% about you and your partner and celebrating why your relationship is yours.

Engagement sessions are a ton of fun and a great way to learn how I work behind the camera, and how you can work with each other in front of it.

I've put together a guide for you to help on picking a location, what to wear, what to expect and what you can do with your photographs afterwards.

the first look

is it right for you?

Nothing effects your schedule and timeline more postively on your wedding day than doing a first look.

Its the most common question that I get from couples and the truth of the matter is - it depends.

I believe that a first look is the best thing you can do for your schedule, especially if you want to enjoy your day and have an easy to manage timeline.

Click the button below to view a few good reasons why.

Well, almost alone. (I'll be there.)

Many of my couples don't really enjoy being the center of attention. Having a first look let's you see each other for the first time without an audience. This let's you really enjoy this moment and in my opinion - creates stronger and more emotional photographs.

See Each Other Alone

You probably don't want to feel like you're on a photoshoot during your wedding, right?

With a first look, we can get a lot of the expected stuff out of the way early. We can time your first look so we can take care of most of your portraits, and all of your bridal party and family formals.

Get Things Done

Rushing = Stress.
Stress = No Fun.

With a first look, we generally have much more time to take care of things before your ceremony. This means that this part of the day will feel like a hangout vs trying to get your portraits, bridal party & family all shot during your cocktail hour.

Take Your Time

Speaking of cocktail hour, a first look will let you enjoy yours!

How great would it feel to get married and then have nothing else to do besides hanging out with everyone at your wedding?

Don't sacrifice cocktail Hour

Thank You

But Really

I hope this guide answered all of the questions you might've had or made you think of things that you haven't yet.
